We do on some occasions use a third party call centre on our behalf e.g. receiving enquires from volunteers, updating volunteer details, booking appointments, home dosing checks. All information held by them is in accordance with the Data Protection Act. By clicking on submit form you are also giving your permission for your data to be processed by a third party call centre.

We also use the TOPS database (The Over volunteering Prevention System). It is important that you do not take part in too many studies. Veeda Clinical Research and other similar contract research organisations (CROs) will enter your National Insurance Number into this database when you register to be a volunteer. If you take part in a study the last dose date of any investigational drug received will be entered onto the TOPs database. This database is used to ensure that you do not over volunteer to take part in clinical trials and is for your safety. We may also contact or be contacted by other CROs to confirm eligibility. All information will be kept in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
