Every year hundreds of new medicines are developed by pharmaceutical companies around the world to combat a range of medical conditions.
All new medicines must undergo extensive and rigorous testing before they become licensed for patients. The testing regime begins with research carried out in laboratory, sometimes for many years, before the drug is deemed safe to be tested on healthy volunteers in a clinical trial.
Veeda Clinical Research is always looking to recruit new volunteers to participate in clinical trials and help develop the medicines of the future. Thousands of people in the Southwest have helped others by registering as a volunteer with Veeda CR.

The Recruitment and Screening departments have now become one! Catherine Harden, a former clinical nurse, is now the Recruitment and Screening manager and for those of you who have taken part in a trial before you might have been lucky enough to have met her!
Nathalie Hayne, former member of the clinical team, recently joined the Recruitment and Screening team and is now the Screening Coordinator.
Last but not least the remainders of the department are Kath Fowler and the lovely ladies that some of you might have had the pleasure to talk to on the phone and they are Debbie Turner, Josie Carkett and Michelle Hassett.
